SENIOR UX/UI DESIGNER (1 POSITION) P1
We are seeking a talented User Experience Architect to join our team. This is a senior role, requiring the ability to supervise other staff, take responsibility for delivery, and provide guidance where necessary. We are seeking individuals who are motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy responsibility. We want people who are able to take ownership of a problem and work until a suitable solution has been developed while consistently exceeding our users and internal client expectations.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience managing staff.
- A passion for creating engaging user experiences and a commitment to user-centred design methods.
- Expertise in Information Architecture and Usability - backed up by solid experience (1+ years) in a dedicated IA/User Experience role. Experience designing for commercial, high-trafficked, content-rich sites essential.
- An excellent portfolio of detailed page schematics/wireframes, functional specifications, interaction flows, site maps, navigation systems and instructional/technical writing.
- Good understanding of web technologies and emerging internet trends (e.g. AJAX, user generated content, accesibility).
- Superb writing and verbal presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate persuasively and resolve issues.
- Great attitude and ability to handle change.
- High level of attention to detail and creativity.
- Strong background in design for Human Computer Interaction.
- Experience with design for online video an advantage;
