Commsec's previous workflow to publish video online was inefficient and human dependant, the existing video player was small and the streaming quality poor.
Viocorp provided CommSec with the Viostream technology platform and the workflow automation allowed CommSec to increase their StockMarket Video update frequency by 400% while delivering a much improved viewer experience.
Viostream provides CommSec with a technology platform that supports the rapid creation of new channels, so viewers can easily locate specific video content they produce, for example RBA Rate Decisions.
Previously the CommSec video tooks 8-seconds to load and then played in a small WMV player about the size of a postage stamp. CommSecTV now plays the video within 1-second in a large Flash player and is viewable on tablets, mobile phones and through the CommSec iPhone app.
Following the implementation of Viostream, CommSec has improved operational efficiency, increased video publishing by 400% and now presents video streaming in-line with their brand.
