Ian Gardiner, Managing Director

Ian co-founded the company with Ron McCulloch in 2002 on his arrival from his native Scotland. Ian has been running successful technology start-ups for over ten years. He was one of the founders of newsbase.com, a European, news, analysis and business intelligence service for emerging markets. He also launched and ran lastorders.com, one of the first on-line off-license operations in the UK.
Ian is recognised as a pioneer in the internet broadcasting market. He has amassed crucial in-depth knowledge of this market and has consistently strived to develop the company’s capabilities in delivering the very best in rich media. Using leading available technologies, Ian is responsible for ensuring exceptional results for Viocorp’s growing portfolio of A list clients.
With his unwavering vision to grow Viocorp into a global force in internet broadcasting, Ian is leading the team forward with the launch of the company's next generation video publishing platform, Viostream.
Away from work, Ian sits on the Board of Metro Screen, a not-for-profit company providing training and support for filmmakers. He is also a member of the advisory board for Sydney University's Business Information Systems department where he guest lectures on innovation and entrepreneurialism. He is the co-founder and treasurer of the Australian arm of the Oxford Business Alumni. Finally, he is a co-founder of the exclusive networking group Innovation Bay.
Ian holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Oxford where he also won two rowing blues.

Ron McCulloch, Chairman

In 2000, whilst developing technologies to support one of his group companies, Ron conceived a video email product "Viomail" which had it's origins as a consumer based kiosk application. It was this innovative product which laid the foundation for the creation of Viocorp in 2002.
Ron is an accomplished management professional with over 30 years experience in the development of businesses in the areas of hospitality, radio and corporate communications. Throughout his career he has demonstrated a capability to grow and sustain good quality businesses and he is particularly qualified in start up enterprises with a thorough knowledge in this area of commerce. Having successfully launched and managed some exceptional private companies, he has a particular talent in strategic planning and through his collaboration with Ian, Viocorp has successfully established itself as one of the leading exponents of Internet Broadcasting in Australia.

Michael Savanis, Chief Operating Officer

Michael is responsible for the overall operations of Viocorp as well as the growth and global promotion of Viostream. This includes the creation of a Viostream business unit, operations, sales, and engineering.
Michael is a well respected presence in the online community, having lived abroad for the past 12 years and worked for the leading internet and technology companies. He brings to Viocorp a wealth of expertise that will enable Viostream to be the leader in digital media publishing. He has undergraduate and Masters degrees with Honours in Information Technology, and an International Executive MBA.

Nick Bolton, Head of Sales and Marketing

Since Nick ran his first webcast in 2000, he has managed several hundred webcast productions for most of the top corporates in Australia. Nick was an Account Director for a leading healthcare advertising agency in London for 5 years, winning two Gold Medals at the Pharmaceutical Marketing Awards for Direct Mail campaigns.
Nick joined Viocorp in 2005 and is dedicated to the principle of "stress free" Internet broadcasting. He firmly believes that the company's "Viostream" platform will, at last, make it viable for clients to publish their own digital media easily. With both the drive and experience required to truly illustrate the latent benefits in rich media, Nick has a real understanding of the key factors surrounding Internet Broadcasting. Nick can dispel most myths surrounding the implementation of digital media publishing within an organization or beyond.

Andrew Walls, Head of Technology

Andrew is primarily responsible for the advancement of Viocorp's streaming media and distribution technologies enabling Viocorp to provide an outstanding "video on the internet" experience.
Skilled in research and development, internet tools and technologies, and streaming media, Andrew has worked in Europe, the United States and the Asia-Pacific advising clients on how to best benefit from the use of Information Technology and the Internet in their businesses. Andrew has overseen the development of Viocorp’s "Viostream" platform, and his team is consistently striving to extend Viocorp’s internet media publishing capabilities.
A graduate in BSc (Hons) Psychology and co-founder of a successful web company in London, Andrew is inspired by creative web applications and intelligent thinking.
